„I have never drunk a better rakija in my life. Whenever anyone offers me a rakija — I remember this one,“ says Luka Laban to Teodor Teja Kralj in Dušan Kovačević's celebrated play Profesionalac, back on the Zvezdara Teatar repertoire after 25 years.

We hope our rakijas will be remembered that way by the audience at the premiere of the new staging of this „play with shooting, weeping and singing“, as Kovačević described it. On Saturday 21 February, the audience, the critics and the company exchanged impressions, suggestions and the inevitable congratulations over drinks from the Jezdić distillery.

Alongside our founder Nenad Jezdić, the cast includes Igor Đorđević, Ana Franić and Duško Ašković.

The set was designed by Vladislava Munić Kanington, the costumes by Dragica Laušević, the composer is Vladimir Marković and the producer Dragiša Ćurguz.
